Daphne Zuniga (born in California) is a veteran American film, TV and environmentalist. Her stunning beauty with a a smoky deep voice and passion for acting that began in her early teen years went to the American Conservatory Theater as a young girl to pursue her acting profession. At the age of 19, she had a small character in The Dorm That Dripped Blood. For The Initiation - another slasher which she starred in, she was the lead. Then, her capability to play in a variety of types of films, including comedies, has captivated viewers. She has starred in comedies such as Modern Girls Spaceballs The Sure Thing; science-fiction horror The Fly II; and romance comedy Beyond Paradise. Her fame began to rise in early1980s when she debuted on the television screen. Melrose Place was a primetime American soap-opera in which she starred in the lead part for the first four seasons.
